FARMINGDALE, NEW YORK, March 22, 2016 – Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), announced today that its subsidiary, Systems Engineering Group (SEG), is sponsoring the Calvin Coolidge High School Robotics team in Washington DC during the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics program. FIRST encourages students to engage in critical Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields and SEG engineers will directly mentor Calvin Coolidge’s participating students during the design and build of the FIRST 100-pound robot competition.
